What do a greenhouse, an airport and the embassy of Luxembourg have to do with each other? Quite simple: Our community member PlattenBaum completes his first unit and from the airport it goes on its journey from Berlin to Remich in Luxembourg. A nice occasion to present the project to the public.
CorpPearls and .GUT Am Flughafen 1 are hosting their first Green Departures event with a celebration of PlattenBaum's pilot project, a pitch session of sustainable startups and an investor panel.
CorpPearls is a Berlin-based boutique consultancy focused on sustainability projects and innovation.
PlattenBaum brings food production to unused urban spaces. The PlattenBaum mini-biosphere is a mobile greenhouse that collects rainwater, generates solar power and heats with compost. The first unit, commissioned by the city of Remich in Luxembourg, will be showcased internationally at the event before departing for Luxembourg.
