As a Berliner, I feel very close to Tegel Airport. I used to love watching the planes take off. I was sad to see the end of air traffic.
After my studies (including architecture), I was drawn to the practical side of things and learned the trade of carpenter.
Now I'm here in this magical place and, looking into the city of the future, the tears are turning into laughter. I find the concept for the subsequent use of the airport and the ideas that are emerging here impressive. It's exciting to experience first-hand how the place is developing more and more.
